Men Of Horley The afterlife he was also a manThe story behind each of the 122 men named on the Horley War Memorial and the search for other local men who died in the First World War. In this fascinating book, Doug Cox puts the lives of these men in context starting with what Horley was like in 1914 and why the country went to war. The impact of the conflict on the town is explained as we learn who these men were, where they lived and where and when they died in the service of their country.
