His rhythms all over X Sticky Fingers X vary and mutate
Stone’s methods and focus began to shift
The attitude here is one of absolute excess
His guitar tone started with the legendarily messed-up solo in the Velvet Underground’s “I Heard Her Call My Name” and then added four fuzz pedals to it
but it nicely punctures some of the myth of punk’s Year Zero having marked some kind of revolutionary cultural break with its recent past
MIGHTY CAESARS, THEE - John Lennon's Corpse Revisited LP thrash His rhythms all over XHighly recommended. Kind of a "reunion" LP. Thee Caesars had been broken up but Crypt got em together for a mini tour of NYC in Nov 88, and they recorded this on returning to Chatham. And CHRIST, is it NASTY! 15 absolute rippers.
