Piezoelectric Bending Transducer (Q220-A4BR-1305YB) Meta||Unit Cost @ Qty. x100||$179.20 All test data was gathered

All test data was gathered at room temperature and with the Kit - 009 clamp kit hardware

Motion in the radial direction is typically on the order of microns or tens of microns

Refer to Section 6 for information on how this data was gathered

Because they have no center shim reinforcement

Thin vacuum sputtered nickel electrodes produce extremely low current leakage and low magnetic permeability

Piezoelectric Bending Transducer (Q220-A4BR-1305YB) Meta||Unit Cost @ Qty. x100||$179.20 All test data was gatheredA 2 layer piezoelectric actuator produces curvature when one piezo layer expands while the other layer contracts. These transducers are often referred to as benders, bimorphs, or flexural elements. Bender motion on the order of hundreds to thousands of microns, and bender force from tens to hundreds of grams, is typical. The brass shim reinforcement laminated between the two piezoelectric layers is an economical approach to producing a rugged actuator.
