Set of Three Shabby Dragonfly Plates, Aesthetic Movement Influence, France c.1890 cornflower blue dish Condition: rich patina or teaA decorative set of three shabby plates featuring dragonflies and wheat motifs, attributed to Salins les Bains production and strongly influenced by the Aesthetic movement. This late nineteenth century design movement celebrated nature, asymmetry, and refined surface decoration with insects such as dragonflies symbolising transformation and fleeting beauty. These plates are shabby and show visible wear and staining, so lovely display pieces rather
