Quartz with Goethite & Calcite chinese minerals What made this find so

What made this find so significant on the Chinese mineral market was that they were also purple

The quartz is “frosted over” in areas which obscure vision into the quartz

A small smoky quartz point with an octahedral fluorite perched near its termination

The rest of the piece is associated with Ferberite and chlorite

A rather eye catching quartz with mica associations

Quartz with Goethite & Calcite chinese minerals What made this find soA rather moody quartz cluster with goethite & hematite inclusions. There is also calcite hugging the back of some of the quartz! Though Anhui is known for its amethyst & quartz scepters, this variety of quartz is among the more rare ones. I have only seen about four of them total throughout my career of sourcing Chinese minerals! Locale: Anhui, China Dimensions: 5. 5 x 6. 6 x 4. 3 cm Item #: ANHQ0023
