In early spring, red buds open into clusters of spicy scented white blooms. This deciduous shrub's neat, rounded form makes it a reliable anchor in any garden. Come autumn, its deep green foliage lights up in shades of orange and red, while clusters of red berries mature to black, attracting songbirds.
