Just casting Sheoldred means youll gain 2 life and your opponents will lose 2 life every turn

Especially on the heels of the super-powerful Modern Horizons 3, this set will be a letdown to Modern players, a joy to fans of the franchise, and a pleasant surprise to casual Commander players

The real reason you play this Guidelight leader is the super cheap spell copying you can do at max speed

After playing with it a few times, the free copy you get for the first artifact, instant, or sorcery you cast provides so much impact on the board, especially with some of the newer cards provided later in the year like Portal to Phyrexia, Flow of Knowledge or Cosmic Epiphany
