pokemon energy cards base set 100 Assorted Basic TCG Base Set 1st Edition Type Lightning Energy (100/102) - Base

While they have always been swapped and collected, the cards' value have exploded in recent years, not just among fans of the game but also among investors with little or no past interest

These supporter cards act similarly to Energy cards and attach to a Pokmon

While I wouldnt have recommended this set at market prices during launch (especially knowing that the short supply was not an intended feature), once the price dropped below $100 per box, it became pretty attractive as an investment

The few new abilities introduced were not unique to the type, but rather to species

You just need to attack with one creature to get the Quest Counters rolling
