Drawing cards when counters get put on it makes Pensive Professor an incredible support piece for +1/+1 counter decksthe archetype has been abusing Fathom Mage for years

some of these decks are better than others, although Id say these are some of the best precons in a while, even for our last pick

Pricing and Investment The cards price of $8 to $10 is directly tied to the success of Izzet Cauldron

I'm hopeful we'll see a ban of some kind push the more cheaply-costed aggressive decks to the wayside, as Monstrous Rage and Cori-Steel Cutter have had their hold on the format for months now

(Cue people who cut Thawing Glaciers from their cube entirely yelling at me in the comments.) Significant cards not on the list: Force of Will (!!) $70 Exile $2 Elvish Spirit Guide $4 Lim-Duls Vault $2 Shield Sphere $2 Every year for the past two years, Ive gone on the record saying that we will see a foil Force of Will within the next 6-12 months
