This deck runs a lot of bizarre cards, and they can all target your own permanents so Orvar can copy them
Though this can force yet even more additional damage into your opponents, it also adds an additional layer of risk, as you could potentially lose out on a key card to your strategy
Thats a lot of mana to commit at any point in the game, and since the effect is open information, your opponent can do a surprising number of things to prevent you from paying the mana
Potentially prophetic rival name aside (given the prevalence of Pokemon TCG in McDonalds Happy Meals), the game is able to offer an entertaining, and more cost-effective, way of playing the TCG, even if it cant quite beat the rush of opening a pack in real life
Also, despite the fact that many decks run Swiftfoot Boots instead of Lightning Greaves or together the Boots cost just 1.25 here for the cheapest version and the Greaves are a pricey 5.99 for the cheapest again, that's a big number difference
