mtg commander deck set Final Fantasy star roster of heavy hitters jumps from the comics to the battlefield MTG Magic The Gathering 2018

Planer Bridge Planeswalker Tribal This was originally a Golos, Tireless Pilgrim deck that had to change with the times once the Commander got banned

Sometime around then I was thinking about my Relentless Rats deck, and lamenting at how stale it felt, and how frustrating it was to play sometimes when faced with enchantments or other cards mono-black has issues dealing with, and it occurred to me that Garth One-Eye was the perfect answer

in terms of the creature type not being supported as much

Cards similar to Overwhelmed Apprentice include Preordain, Omenspeaker, Zhalfirin Void

Thurid also gives all those creatures a bonus +1/+1, which is a pretty solid lord effect to have in the Command Zone
