yugioh 5ds over the nexus best deck Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011 This deck is unfair |

Open mana and a card in hand could mean a counterspell, removal, or a combat trick waiting to punish a bad decision

Unlike symmetrical damage doublers that affect all players, Lightning's targeted approach creates advantages for the player while adequately giving the core concept of FF13's stagger mechanic

I can see it doing good work in the 99 elsewhere (Cadric, Soul Kindler?), but it shouldnt be a slouch as the face of its own deck

When you cast a creature for its mutate cost, it's still considered being cast, and many are multicolored

The deck is heavily focused on creatures, while benefiting from artifacts to boost their power which is why they make up the majority of the deck
