The theme of sacrifice felt so at home in a modern horror set that it felt wrong not to have black-red return to its roots
Green has reasonable access to card draw, its got the best creatures, the best ways to gain a mana advantage, and its even got decent removal with fight effects like Primal Might and artifact and enchantment hate like Nature's Claim
Trust me, its way better now

Honorable Mention #1 - Familiars Hitting my 7 spot even are the category of cost reducers by 1 mana each called Familiars since they will work for an entire class or color of card like Sunscape Familiar
