birthday pikachu pokemon card - Promo 24 - Celebrations 25th Anniversary - NM certified PSA 10 Gem Tokyo Snack Box | Japan

Lots of post-ancient-Greek media transposes Greek characters and creatures to other settings, so its interesting to see a sort of reverse happen here

Whereas used to get you something like Charmed Stray, Garrison Cat, or even Glittering Lynx, this incredible Cat boasts first strike, lifelink, ascend, and a triggered ability that is truly bonkers whether you have the citys blessing or not

Better yet, the first time it dies, it comes back as a 2/2 rather than a 1/1

Whenever a Zombie you control enters, put a +1/+1 counter on it for each other Zombie that entered the battlefield under your control this turn

Even though Grixis Control is the most obvious home for Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh, I think the card is good enough to play elsewhere, as evidenced by my Temur-based Five-Color Planeswalkers deck from last weekend
