By the Numbers While it feels like Pokmon TCG has been non-stop booming for decades now, if you havent been paying attention over the past year and a half especially, the overall trading card market is now on a new level

The main set itself also looks amazing so far at the time of writing, with includes for these decks and just general good stuff at all levels of rarity

This Illustration Rare card has a current market price of $20.08 on TCGPlayer , a respectable value for any trading card

The odds have varied and there are exceptions (dont @ me) but very roughly about 1 in 45 to 1 in 100 total cards distributed in Magic booster packs will be a foil replacing a regular card
