2013 Domaine Chantal Lescure "Clos des Topes Bizot" C̫te du Beaune Rouge A stands for AMAZINGAromas of clove spice, earth and macerated cherries dominate this medium light bodied pinot. The wine hits the palate with a lively freshness displaying flavor profiles of both red and dark berry fruit, yet reveals a subtle streak of graphite like minerality. With a lengthy pepper finish and a zippy dose of good acidity this begs to be opened with dinner tonight. Try a roasted lemon chicken or mushroom risotto for a delicious pairing.
