Description

Our Take: Bright and energetic

seeing how well each of the vintages showed was remarkable

surrounded by brush forest

with the oldest around 100 years old and self-rooted

This is superb

Elio Sandri Cascina Disa Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2023 PIEDMONTE Our Take: Bright and energeticSHORT TERM PRE ARRIVAL ARRIVES MID APRIL (90 92) pts Vinous Drinking Window 2023 2030 The 2023 Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a deep, unctuous wine. Dark cherry, plum, pomegranate and sweet spice all meld together in a potent, layered Barbera. This offers notable immediacy, yet there is no shortage of substance here.
