The Origin of Colours Collection the design captures the rhythmThe inspiration behind this design The Origin of Colours takes you back to the very beginning of human artistic expression, to the Lascaux Cave, where 20,000 years ago our ancestors pressed pigment into stone and created the first art the world had ever seen. This silk square honours those first marks: the ochres, the browns, the animal forms that told the stories of early life. A reminder that the urge to create beauty is as old as humanity itself.
